Hello
Has anyone got any opinions on whether it is better to have the gloss effect on a Mac Book Pro Screen or the matt - particularly with editing images in mind, rather than just playing DVDs etc.
Many thanks!

I find matt screens are better in bright light - they don't reflect. My glossy Compaq screen is unusable in bright light.

I agree any light behind you makes the screen impossible to see. I like the matt screen on my desktop much more. I do like the picture quality better with the glossy screen but in darker areas.

Thanks guys!
Just found out that my new Mac Book Pro would run my CS 2 at a snails pace becuase of the Intel chips - great!
Does anyone know whether it's true that my CS 2 is not going to be upgradeable to CS 3 and I'll have to buy the whole lot from scratch again if I do end up getting the Mac Book Pro?
Cheers!
