To All,

I have spent the last few days, looking at DCs - and after countless reviews and forums... we have narrowed our search to two models.

Kodak DX-7630
Sony DSC-W1

Lithium-Ion vs NiMH

any thoughts...

Thanks.

You will probably get a more meaningful answer if you use the right board. Neither of these cameras is a dSLR.

Try the Which Camera Should I Buy board.

Two collegues just bought these two models. The Sony has a better movie
mode, while the Kodak has a little more pixels and that neat docking station.
Batteries were a bit of a concern, but if you have an extra one, you don't
have much problem, especially because you can charge it through the dock.
You will be happy with either (for about 12 months by which time it will
be outdated;-)
