I have decided on two digital camera models but am having trouble figuring out what model has the best macro or close up shot option. I sometimes take close up shots on smaller objects for my ebay auctions. For example a button on a jacket.
Could you please help me decide what model has the better macro function or is better for taking close ups on smaller objects?
The models that I am looking at are:
Canon Powershot S3 IS
Canon Powershot SD700 IS
I have a Canon Powershot S2 now that is broken. I think the shutter is stuck or broken. I like the camera but it is a little big to carry in my pocket, that is why I am considering the SD700 IS to replace it with.
Will the SD700 IS take good closeups on smaller objects in the macro mode?
