Playing around with my new A630

Hi everyone. I just got a A630 on a sale on Black Friday as my new point and shoot. I've been testing in out and have been very happy with it so far. The reason I bought this is because I'm in love with my Rebel XT but am scared to take it with me to iraq in a couple weeks. After doing research and playing with some cameras in the store I figured this camera would be the next best thing for me with it manual control options. I can't wait to take it to work on monday and have everyone comment to me on how big it is compred to thier ultra compacts that are all the rage.:p

I have a few dislikes, but nothing that I ca'nt work around. For fast shooting, I didn't like the AiAF mode. I found it would often lock the focus behind where I wanted it. The flash is also too harsh for me, but I understand that everything has it limitations.

And dogs would be dogs if there weren't doing something they weren't supposed to. Plus a picture of my wife at sunset using the flash which turned out really good I think. (it lost some quality in resizing sadly)
