Camera Lens Cap Question

Hello All,

I just got a Rebel XTi with the following lenses: Tamron 75-300 and Tamron 28-80 and both came with UV filters (58mm and 62MM). Obviously the Tamron "snap on" lens caps no longer fit with the UV's in place. is there other types of lens caps I can use, and if so, what do you suggest? Thank you:)

Your standard lens cap should work in the threads of the filter just like on the lens. Tamron uses some kind of non-standard caps?

Well I guess I must have had a "senior moment". :o You are right Forced Perfect! That's what happens when I assume...because the snap-on lens cap didn't quite go on the fliter the way it did on the lens, I stopped trying too soon. I appreciate you taking the time to set me straight.

BTW...I really love this camera and becasue of the standard kit lens issues I read about before purchase, I went with the Tamron...they are great!
