Can anyone direct me to a link that has a list of what Canon lens are compatible with teleconvertors? I am thinking of playing around with one but do not know if my lens will work with them. I am considering the Kenko 1.5. I checked Kenko's sight w/o much luck.
I have done a forum/sight search and came up with a lot of hits but little useful/specific info. May have used the wrong search terms though:confused:
I believe none are compatible with ef-s glass, but all my lens' are EF. (see sig)
I have found this list
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=41922
but it is somewhat dated ( 2004 )
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ron

I have the Kenko 1.5 and I am very happy with it. I thought in tests I have seen at DPreview that the Kenko was best bang for the buck.

Well,
That was the one I was considering, but am getting conflicting info on what lens will work with it. I see the above link just lists Canon L series for the Canon tc.
Does the Kenko work with the standard Ef lens? In particular the 70-300is and 28-135 is?
Or is there a list somewhere that tells for sure what lens the Kenko will work with?

I have the same Kenko and I'm trying to sell it. It's ok for on-shot and simple tracking. But it's absolutely useless for quick sporadic action.

If anyone wants to buy it, it's on my website (my user ID). IQ is great actually, but the less than fast AF isn't so hot. That's my only complaint and reason for selling it. I've only used it a couple times.

It should work on the lenses you mentioned but you lose a stop of light, so AF might be crap at best. The above comments were based on a 70-200 f/2.8L non-IS and 24-70 f/2.8L.
