black and white photos in canon a540

Hi guys,

How to take b&w photos in a540. I can take bw videos. But i am unable to take photos. please help me

Are you shooting in Automatic mode? You may not be able to change the color settings in Auto. Try P or M and see if you can set it to B&W.

hit the Menu button when you are on Sephia and it will become B&W.

:confused: Why not just make a shot into B&W with a post processing software later on? Because if you shoot in B&W, can you make it into color with PP?
