Looking for a good lense to shoot small objects like pearls. Any good ones for around $200-$300?

Just a small suggestion. Im thinking of getting the Kenko extension tubes to go with my 50mm f/1.8 lens. You may want to look into this option ;)

I'd think either of those would do just fine. I know they are outside of your $300 budget. but I'd seriously stretch my budget to include one of these two babies! good luck, there are plenty of 100% satisfied owners of both lenses BTW.
