So I just picked up a macro lens (Nikor 60mm f/2.8) and have been trying to take pictures of some of my friends iris's (they look really neat up close btw)

anyway I have been having issues with lighting the eye well (i don't have Nikon's macro lights/flash ring) and when I do, I get a decent shot, but I can see myself really clearly in the reflection of the eye. I was thinking I could use a polarizer which could help. but does anyone else know how I can avoid the reflection and light the eye well:confused:

Ill post my shot I did last night later on when I get home.
