I went to the local camera store today to attempt a local purchase of the Fuji S6000fd. When all was said/done, I purchased this on-line thru Dell. I bought a camera, Sandisk 1gb Xd card and Tifin(sp ?) uv lense protector for $468/shipped(has 5.5% tax included) + the $50 rebate to deduct for a $418 cost. This ended up being about $55 less than local price. The reason I selected Dell is because they have a 21 day, no re-stock fee return policy if the camera doesn't suit my needs and also a 90 day repair/return policy thru Dell if my camera needs repair w/in the 1st 90 days. For an on-line purchase with prior positive Dell experience, I felt this was an ok deal. Should have it Tuesday.. Troop

I ordered the camera, xd card and uv lense friday afternoon. The camera/xd card were at my door at 1pm today and the uv filter will be here wednesday(from Ft.Worth, TX as the camera came from South Bend, IN). Software installed and now browsing the manual. This should be fun... :-)
