Are there particular brands you like or hate?
I really like Olympus. Had good experience with them. Not turned off to other brands though.
Are there particular models you already have in mind?
Olympus Stylus 710, 750
(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)
Image stabilization
I’ve used a friend’s Olympus Stylus 600 and I really liked it a lot. I don’t really want anything larger than that. It fits well in my pocket and pictures come out really good most of the time. Currently I have an older Fuji and I hate that it produces a lot of blurry pictures if you aren’t really careful. Most of the time I’ll be using the camera at parties or and taking spontaneous pictures where I’m holding the camera out taking pictures with someone. With the Stylus 600 this was never really a problem and the pictures RARELY came out blurry and that’s pretty much my main concern when buying. I want the same experience.
Thanks for any help.
