My wishlist at this time are the following lenses:
Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 or Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8
Nikkor 85 f/1.8
Sigma / Tamron 180 f/3.5 macroIt will take some time before I'll buy any of those, though. At the moment my budget is pretty tight, and I currently don't have enough time to spend on photography to justify any of these big purchases. Especially considering that I can achieve pretty decent results with my current kit in almost any situation.
My next purchase will be an ultra wide I am leaning toward the Toking 12-24 right now.
Next will be a second body. I am currently looking at the XTi, but I will keep an eye one a future Elan type body. (40D???)
Singh Ray Vari Density ND filter.
Then finally a bigger bag for the whole shebang.

That should perform quite well. I've got a 2.16GHz Intel Core 2 Duo in my 2GB iMac and it runs great. With that configuration lockups and reboots under Windows should perform admirably :)
Should make an awesome platform for running Photoshop or other PP tools also.

Yeah I was going to get a 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo but I really didn't want to spend extra money. I had capped myself around $1800 and wasn't willing to sacrifice the screen/hard drive/memory, etc to keep the price there.
Probably a set of new tires so I can keep driving to places to take more photos. :D I guess I could also upgrade the ram in my notebook, again. ;) Other than that, probably a wide angle lens to add to the four other lenses in my collection.

What HDD speed?
I got a 7200 RPM I haven't installed yet. That's currently the fastest for laptop, albiet a firewire II attached external SATA would be faster.
HDD seems to be a big bottleneck in laptop performance. Swapping later is a little time consuming though.
My next purchase: what's really needed is an LCD color balancing setup.
All in all, I've not very little time to spend on photography for the next 8 months so I'd like to make that little time more rewarding, meaning improved PP results and speed.
My next Lens purchase will be a WA. Leaning towards the Canon 10-20 or 17-55. I think 17mm will suffice for me, so the 17-55 f2.8 IS would do well, but a 10-20mm would widen my horizons, so to speak (pun intended).;)

Yeah. Geared towards small and medium businesses as desktop replacements. It should be decent...if it ever comes out of backorder status.
Website's kinda wierd. Says in stock, then they tell you it has a 1-2 business day lead time. When you email and ask, they give you an ETA of about a week later. So much for 1-2 business days. It's a well spec'd laptop for the price, hence being tolerant of the wait time. As long as it doesn't drag out indefinitely...

i bought my new laptop 2 months ago, and have to send it warranty after 3 days using it, and now, they sent me new one, for 2 freaking months!!!! anyways, my specs are duo T2400 1.8ghz i guess, 100 GB 5400 SATA, dvd multi drive, 1 GB ram, bluetooth, white casing like apple, built in webcam, and i love the built in VGA card for this small size laptop!!! you rarely see a 13incehs laptop or below with geforce go 7400... unless you go for sony or ASUS, mine is ASUS :D

CDI- Yeah, that's the way I felt about passing on the $250 upgrade to the 2.33GHz processor. The 7200 rpm drive was standard, but I spend a few extra dollars to go with the 256mb video card. I wanted to max out the memory at 3gb but $575 to go from 2gb to 3gb seemed rediculous. The 24" screen is incredible.
Vich- You will love the 17-55 lens, but don't fool yourself that you'll be satisified with 17mm. I held out about 10 days after getting the 17-55 before buying the 10-22 which I really love. Definately check the used market for some good deals- I lucked out and found a 90 day old one for $550/lens hood from a guy only a few towns away.
If you've got the ability to make use of an old drive Windows will run better if you put your swap file on a different hard disk. Same with Photoshop.
well i don't think rolls of additional paper for my printer really counts. i'm hoping the 16mp 5d replacement is real and that's what i'm planning to save up for next. and most likely a used nikon 17-35 f2.8 afs + adapter to go with the camera.

Hmm, I recently got a Pentax K100D, Pentax 10-17mm, Sigma 18-50mm f 2.8 and Sigma 70-300mm APO, so I guess the next things, in no order, would be the K10D with a 600 f8 mirror in front and FGZ540 flash on top (though maybe not for use at the same time.)
