View Full Version : virtual tour camera???
i am starting a virtual tour company and am looking at the fuji s9000 to do the job.i will be using a 0-360 Panoramic Optic for shooting my 360 shots, so i dont have to stich my photos, but i also need to shoot some still shots to put in the tour.Is the fuji a good enough cam to take professional interior stills and 360 pano's or should i look at a slr cam with a wide angle lense for my still shots? im realy looking for a allaround camera to do the job and am hoping the fuji is the one.im on a budget.$2500 for all my equipment and software.i am using easypano tour weaver 1.30 and my unwrapping software that will come with the 360 lense for the software. whats is better the kadian 360 lense or the 0-360 Panoramic Optic. also if anyone has one of these lenses and would like to sell ,,i would like to buy it . both companys are on a 3 week back order and i need asap.
any advice will be greatly appreciated.

i notice the fuji movies are avi format, and the lens is 28mm
if you are shooting real estate you need 24mm at least unless all your clients have palaces, i see the fuji doesnt offer a wide adapter
there are 2 competitors near me that also do real estate, and both of them offer quicktime pans and use canon dSLRs, i think you need to have more options for TTL flash, and ultra wide lenses.

the virtual tours are not made with the movie mode on the camera ,they are made for one donut image i get from the one shot 360 lense, then i unwrap the donut image and get a wide panorama that i can make into the virtual tour

ah see
that be why i dont do them
i dont have the first idea about em
one of the people i spoke of does short indoor pans like you might with video
and converts the quicktime file to flash
