Which Camera will suit my need ? Please guide.

Hi all,

I am would like to buy a compact camera. This will be my first digital camera, but I have used a couple of them which belong to my friends. Please suggest me the cams which will be good enough for my needs as outlined below. I read a bit about digital cams and found Sony Cybershot w50 and Canon Powershot sd 600 to be good enough for my need. Please guide me on which camera will be best suited for my need.

* Budget - > at the maximum 400 $

* Size -- > compact camera ( Like that of sony w50 or canon powershot sd600, I belive these belong to compact camera category )


* 6 Mega Pixcel or more

* Optical zoom 3x-4x

* 2.5' or more LCD

* Good Image quality is a must.

* Would be taking prints.

* Manual controls -- > Not much essential

* Would be used to take all the happenings in life :-). Indoor, Outdoor and also Night images.
Miscellaneous

* I am looking at Canon, Nikon and Sony. I am not sure if they are the best, but after reading a bit, I felt so.

* Under the said budget, I am trying to get 1 GB memory and also one additional battery.

you said outdoor, indoor and night shots.. so that means 2/3 times will be either low light (indoor) and night shots?

I recommend the Fuji F30 :)
