After some of my problems on this web page I am somewhat apprehensive about posting, but hear go's!
I read the post on "Bags", but I am totally inexperienced and need some help (Bags) if the Pros don't mind!

I think the best thing for me to do is tell you what I have, and what I'm getting/trying to accomplish.

So Far: AccuManager 20 battery charger.
2, 4 packs of Sanyo Eneloop batteries.
1 GB of Ridata Memory.
1 LensMate 58mm adapter and lens cap.
1 Battery tester.
1 Silk Full size tripod.

What I am getting:
Canon S3IS
B+W UV Filter
Either a B+W multi coated Polarizer, or Hoya.
Sony VCL-DH1758 Tele adapter.
Flower Hood, no idea from who yet!

Later on:
Macro lens and whatever.

Question: I need a bag that would hold these things in safety ! I need/like to be able to pull the camera out even if it was wearing the LensMate and Tele adapter from the top very quickly. I think you pros get the idea!
Not a backpack, but a shoulder/handle configuration.
The Tamrac bags look nice but there is probably a 1000 things that I don't know that you guys do.
Expound to your hearts content! I'm trying hard to learn but I do need some help.

Hi Changeling

I can't give specifics on bag names because every store carries their own types and even in different countries the same bag will have a different name. I would suggest going to your local camera store and taking your stuff with you, then matching a bag to your specifications. Get one with more space than you require because I can guarantee you will buy more filters and lenses and maybe different flash units further down the track. Whatever you get make sure it is waterproof. Some camera bags aren't and you don't find out until it rains or you slip in the river.

have a look at some bags that have more flexible interior patterns, usually the dividers are attached with velcro. the best have zippers and pockets all over them.

work out a sensible kit, like, i dont know why you feel the need to carry a battery charger with you. if you are touring then like me you probably require 2 kits. 1 as you mention, one for accessories you dont need on a shoot

I think you guys have been very honest, and it makes sense! I have always thought that the camera would be the last purchace, it seems I should get my (stuff) togeher then go into a good camera store and just say 'Fit me up".
Thanks, I mean it.
