I went into Boots the Chemist today to use (for the second time) their Kodak photo printer machine. You touch the screen, insert your memory card and select the relavent photos for printing.

This time, however, I inserted my Canon Compact Flash card and some images on the screen appeared corrupted, just lines of colours, and one of the moon had a white line running horizontally accross the dark sky! Some images looked normal.

I tried the other machine next to it and same thing. I got home and checked my card and it appears fine...all images from the card displayed on my pc look fine!

Anyone a fan of these printers in Boots and anyone know of this wierd problem?

Thanks,
Tc

It sounds very much as though Boots system is getting worse. I used Boots system once before, in 2001. It took about 2 hours to get it to load - from CD - the photos I wanted printed and I only uploaded 50! As a result of that time-wasting experience, I don't bother with Boots. They're an expensive and shoddy little chemist at the very best and they've tried to expand beyond their intellectual capabilities.
