I guess you can call me somewhat of a newbie. Ive had digital cameras for over 8 years, but now I am thinking of going to the next level. My question is this. I will be starting a website that will require high quality shots, and I am wondering if I should go with an expensive camera or should I stick with with the low end digital cameras.

Click Here For Visual Examples (http://creative.gettyimages.com/source/classes/FrameSet.aspx?&UQR=oftplh&pk=4&source=front&lightboxView=1&txtSearch=jamaica&selImageType=7&chkLicensed=on&chkRoyaltyFree=on&chkNLM=on)

This is the stuff I take now

I am wondering if i should just stick with the stuff I do now and fix it up in photoshop ? or invest in a high quality camera that would allow me to get some beautiful shots. Where do I start

...or invest in a high quality camera that would allow me to get some beautiful shots.Judging by the picture you posted here and the ones on your link, I think that you are getting very beautiful shots with the gear you already have.

They make me thirsty for a drink with a little umbrella in it. :D

I was confused at first, thinking the link refered to your own images - but on going there I saw different photographers' name.

Buy a new camera gear only if you want a new faster response camera. The different in quality will be simply lost when compressing for the net.
