Remote Photography

Hello, I am sorta new to this forum and to SLR's, I am planning on buying a Olympus E-500 some time soon, but what I want to know is, can you wire-lessly take photos by remote or from a computer/laptop? Does the e-500 let you do this? What is the range of the remote?

Yes, you can take pictures with a wireless remote, not sure about the computer part.

I've found the range of my remote to be around 20 feet, plus or minus.
