Hi all,

I have read that MicroDrives fit into CompactFlash II slot of your camera. Microdrives tend to be huge like 2GB and 4GB. What is the difference between a MicroDrive and a Compactflash II card? What are their speeds (especially Microdrive's speed)? Is there an advantage of using one over the other?

Hoping to hear from you.

A Microdrive is just that, a miniature hard disk that fits a CF slot. Only reason to use one is capacity, as you said they are huge. Now that there are 1 gig flash memory cards, I'd imagine the market for Microdrives will start to go away.
