hi, im looking for a new bag for my kit, was actually strungling with lowepro or billingham bags, now KATA comes to the picture... and i see the features, price, and design, and i totally like it...
can somebody tell me their experience about KATA bags? i can't see it physically, its pretty rare to see kata bags here in london, so all i know came from online... is there something im missing? im looking at R103 backpack, which can hold laptop as well, and thinking of getting the waist bag as well, the ws94 i guess... any ideas?

I dont have experience with KATA, but if it helps you at all, I just bought a Large Tenba Bag. I am so impressed with it. It is light, yet durable. I have a D200, D70, Sigma 24-70 (heavy lens), Sigma 18-200, Nikkor 50mm, Tokina 12-24, SB-600, Lightsphere Dffuser, Cokin Filters and Adapter rings, all my batteries, and my Manfrotto 3021 Tripod. The tripod fits securely on the back of the bag and is very easy to access in a moments time. It all fits in my backback, and I love how the waist and shoulder harnesses are soft but strong. There is a slot for a laptop as well as many side pockets for all your misc. odds and ends. The zipper is weather sealed, and it even comes with a pull over rain cover. For $149, there isnt another bag that I could find that offered as much as the Tenba does (local stores), and I did a lot of looking around. Here is the link to the bag.

Tenba is an up and coming brand that not many people know about, but it soon will be when people realize how much value they are getting for their money. Just my 2-cents
