why my pictures have been grainly lately? I am going on vacation next week to Vegas so would love how my camera used tot ake pics, I think someone fiddled with settings and I am not sure what to change now, any help would be greatly appreciated? TIA

Post some pictures with exif information included so we can have a look.

Also check you have not set the ISO too high, put it on auto or else 64 until you need a higher setting.

Many digital cameras have a feature in the menu to set everything back the factory settings. You might try that. Then you can customize the camera to your liking afterward.
