I've heard that the F30 tends to overexpose everything in bright daylight. If this is true and becomes a problem for every shot, can this be fixed by setting the exposure compensation lower in-camera or using post-processing(using the included finepix software? or some other software?) I shoot as many daylights shots as i shoot low-light ones, so if daylight pix are always gonna be crappy and can't fixed too much(or too hard/expensive to fix)then I'm gonna have to look for another camera. I have many halloween events coming in a few days that are gonna be low-light and i really need responses fast. Thanks for any help!!
EDIT: I looked at reviews for performance but really don't know how good that is. I HATE cameras that have a long shutter lag(causes blur) or takes 4 seconds between each picture when skipping around in review mode. F30 owners: any complaints?

You have done your research well.
I don't see problem with over exposure; only purple fringing. I'd say F30 over exposure 'every shot' outdoors is exaggerating. Sure, I have read about it too.
The magnitude of expose and fringing problem is subjective. For small prints and posting on website, that will be a no cause. If you have to adjust exposure compensation, the buttons are just at finger tip. It seems convinience enough to me.

These days most cameras are fast. The 4 second interval happen when people use flash and batteries are low so time is neede for recharge before next shot. If you don't use flash, (that's the reason I bought this in the first place) F30 is fast. With flash use, it takes a little longer to recharge though not slower than cameras in its class.

ok thanks! i just ordered it. btw, i think u actually got my question in a different meaning, but it helped so no worries!(i meant that it takes like forever to review/look at the pictures you've already just took, like skipping around ur pictures in REVIEW mode takes forever.) but yeah thanks again! I did rush processing, UPS overnight, everything i could do to make it fast in time for halloween and i have a baaaad feeling... we'll see what happens. ill PM u for some tips bout the camera when i get it.
