I know some of you have sharp eyes. Who can spot something wrong in this photo first?

The car must have been t-boned or something. The rear door is plain; replaced after the fact perhaps. If the other side is identical, then the decal supervisor was on crack the day that one went out the door. ;)

Other than that, the cop is breaking the law by parking there. Says "No Stopping."

That's obviously cdi-buy.com but it is not what I'm getting at.
BTW, this is just for a bit of fun... these forums are slow...... :D

Something specific to Australia then? Like maybe your car manufacturers put the steering wheels on the WRONG sides of the vehicles? :p

Cuz all I can see is the sign and the door. The plate and something on the trunk lid are blacked out but I assume you did that intentionally...so it's not really "wrong."

Do you guys drive on the left side of the road, therefore making the parking and signs on the right ironic/backwards?

No. Someone with sharp eyes can spot something is not the way it should be. I blacked out the number plate and squad car # to protect the innocent; i.e. ME. Who know I might get a good beating tomorrow by posting this image.
No PP. just blacked out and crop.
Good night for now. :)

You missed a car number though. I can still see NT10 on the door. Are you a copper?

;) Not bad. We drive on left side but this one is ONE WAY street.
I have to get some sleep. I'm sure you will get it right soon. If not I will answer tomorrow

OK is "000" not a legitimate emergency number in Aus?

YIKE! Please edit your post. No. I'm not a copper. 000 is legitimate. Nothing post processed.

Edit my post? Why the overreaction? It's plain to see...

...this is getting absurd. If the "wrongness" has to do with being in fine detail, for example in the signs, I can't see it. There's something on the roof of the car coming out of the door but I certainly can't tell what it is. Could be a dead bird, or it could be part of the equipment. You have too much web compression going on. And it has nothing to do with sharp eyes.

I now blacked out all the numbers incl the one missed originally.
If anyone take such post seriously, please pay no more attention. This post is never meant for serious discussion... just to test your attention to detail - not just for Australians.

The reflection of the cop car in the window is backwards...assuming that's supposed to be the rear of the car reflected. Could very well be the front of the car though...

By the way, if that's a prison (indicated by the bars), why are there glass windows and curtains?

Is it the "No Stopping" sign?

Is it the "No Stopping" sign?

I mentioned it and he said it wasn't that. He said that and the door are "obvious" and not what he was referring to...

hmmm.......... I swear I didn't see that line last night. :o
Did you happen to edit - add that line seconds after your first post? (if you edit a few seconds after sending Last edited by ... blah blah.. won't be visible.
If you didn't edit, please accept my apology.

It was about our law breaking law enforcer... Well, they are just human after all.

I don't remember editing but I may have. I was so confused (and frustrated!) though...scouring that image up and down thinking what the F____ is so "wrong" with the pic other than what I pointed out. lmao.

I've experienced the law-breaking officers first hand. I was led through a town in the wee hours of the morning because I got lost...the cop had me follow him and we ran so many red lights it wasn't even funny. I was thinking to myself "Is he screwing with me...does he plan on whipping around behind me after this and citing me for all these violations??"

Actually he was a pretty nice younger fellow. Just wanted to help me get on my way as quickly as possible I suppose.

the police car has been involved in an accident and had his back door replaced but they've forgotten to put new stickers on it :) ?

or (but I can hardly see it), the first house number is 65 and the following house seems to have a 3 digit number on it ???

Interesting so emergency codes are:
000 in Australia
999 in Great Britain
112 in Europe (and Britain also)
01/02/03/04 (dependent upon required service) in Latvia (and possibly the rest of the USSR).

Any others?

Those aren't my PP tricks. The police cars in that particular town has high turn over rate; I guess. And the street numbering system has alternate numbers odd and even at opposite side of the street. One side numbers: 1, 3, 5, 7, etc. The other: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10,..................

In the case of an emergency I hope they can remember what is what. :(

a rather strange 'off-centre' parking sign, but a lot of things in sydney are a tad off-centre

it could be a one way street, in which case its ok to park on the 'wrong' side, the unattended patrol car is another story. i bought a nsw police car for my own transport at an auction. the installed 351 makes it user friendly but they still handle like bars of soap

emergency number 000 was chosen because, on the rotary dial phones, it was furthest around the dial, making 'accidental' calls from children less likely
