Woohoo, now we are getting somewhere

Just got our XTi and 75-300 is canon. Went to a state park today and got lucky and got some great photos. Wife and I are very happy with the setup.
Started getting real cloudy and VERY cold 44 degrees) and windy when we were there. But here are a couple that we took.

For some reason the second pic looks blurry on here but not on my monitor.:confused: May be resizing for the post?
Comments and advice welcome. Be aware we have had it for only 5 days now and are still getting used to what it is capable of. We are even more aware of our limited capabilties:D

Well looks as if your off to a good start _ pretty much anytime you down sized an image for web posting its going to need some type of post process sharpening added.
