D50 flash not working all the time

Is anybody having trouble with the onboard flash not firing every time? Mine is getting sporadic. Battery indicator says its fine. Any other ideas?

Have you checked the settings? I prefer to keep the flash off, unless I push the flash button myself to make it pop up. Check out p. 18 - 20 and 36 - 38 in the manual. Hope that helps!

Had not paid a lot of attention to flash modes. Usually just put it in p and use flash when I think I need it. Maybe auto is a better setting. Read the pages you mentioned, and that helps. Thanks.
