VERY talented people

Hey Everybody. First post. There are some VERY talented people here and I commend you all on your skills. I would appreciate comments on my pic from a recent NY trip. There's something about this picture that really speaks to me, but I can't pinpoint it. Comments welcome!

I like the shot a lot, If it was me I might re crop so as the right side of the frame was fairly close to the statue and bring the bottom up a bit, the bottom left corner has somethign in it thats a bit distracting. But thats just my opinion and its quite a good shot as is.

Did you shoot this on a boat cruise in NY harbor?

A nice capture, but I would suggest rotating the picture slightly (The statue looks to be leaning a little left (could just be the angle))

Thanks everyone. Yes, Rich. It was shot on a harbour cruise. At first I didn't like the lighting, but after a while I thought that it actually added to the shot. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I'll play around with the shot.
