Greetings all,
In the coming weeks, I may go ahead and purchase this lens for my Canon Rebel XTi 400D. Hoping to use it for low light shots, and mainly for portrait shots.
I am aware of the build quality and price. Just looking for comments from experienced users.
I would like to hear some feedback from DSLR users who have had (or still have) this lens.
Regards,
Krz

its a must lens for DSLR users from amateurs to semi pros :) usually the good ones will get like 50 f1.4 or 50 f1.2 L which are very very expensive... although this 50 f1.8 is cheap, its also one of the common lens that everybody has, because of its quality and its price... its a nice lens for low lights and also portraits, considering the price :)

There is a search function on this forum and if you look in the Canon DSLR room you will find a lens review
