Flash compatibility on E-500

Anybody who owns a Woctron digital slave flash?

I had my E-500 for 6 months now and I love it! But I don't know if the Woctron digital slave flash I have is compatible with it. I'm afraid that if I put it directly on the E-500 hotshoe, I might damge the camera... How will I know if this is compatible? Is there a site where I can learn about dgital slave flashes and compatibility issues? Sorry... newbie here...
