I am in the process of purchasing a 512MB CF card for my Canon A95. I have been looking a Lexar cards and I notice that they come in various speeds from 4x on up. What speed will this camera handle? Also are there other brand cards that are better than the Lexar? I did notice that the 12x has a limited lifetime warranty.

While it's a late answer: 24X is about the maximum speed you will need for the camera (actually 16X will work fine). Most all-in-one digitals can only transfer data from the buffer memory to the flash card at less than 2 Mega Bytes Per second. Since each multiplier represents 150 Kilo Bytes Per second, the actual rating is about 14X.
