No - didn't touch her eyes (though I did adjust levels on all the shots). She was born with those babies! ;)

Peter,

Adorable, but you already know that.
#4 , is she double jointed, her fingers seem to be bent back the wrong way?
Probably from holding Uncle Peter's heavy camera.

That third shot is outstanding. Bravo. I love the captured look of childlike wonder. It's great.

absolutely beautiful. levels are definitely allowed. it's the hue/saturation where you start cheating haha.

Thanks all. She's definitely a sweetheart and cute as could be. The interesting thing was she wasn't so keen on Uncle Peter hanging around. I only get to New York a couple of times a year to see the family and the last time I saw her was at Christmas. My dad and stepmom watch her three days a week and I was staying there for part of my visit and Katelyn wasn't too happy about having me there in her space. So we had this whole photo shoot planned and she wouldn't cooperate at all. Then on top of it my RF slave and some other gear would not work that day. So I just started grabbing shots as I could. Anyway, I think we got some good ones. I'm gonna do a photo book for my dad and stepmom (the grandparents) and then print and frame a couple for my step sister and her husband.

Oh - can't comment on the finger thing Rich. I think all little kids are flexible that way?

PETER!!! OMG!! Coming from the father of an almost 3 1/2 yr old and 19 mth old (I have been out with my buddy n drinking and can't do the math but they are 22 mths apart) you have some INCREDIBLE keepers.

When it comes to the little ones, I don't think everthing should be all technical and studio. That is just NOT all about being that age. Candid..catching their life as it happens and just "IS" speaks volumes!!!! You have done that in multiple shots. PROUD...be proud of these captures!!

Come visit me in Michigan...I have a project for you!!!!

How does this compare to you model shoots???

(HOLY COW, it's hard to type right now...this little message took me like 30 mins to type with out errors...time for bed...)

Do you ever get the feeling someone has been here before?

1 & 2 especially give me that feeling.

Fantastic shots mate, very striking:)
