how come the IS is not in the camera?? would be nice to pay for it up front 1 time instead of each lens... that way all your lenses would be IS

Lens IS does a better job as far as I can tell.

Because this particular question has been at the heart and soul of the DSLR forum for almost 2 years now.

Psst: We found a picture, taken inside of the board room...
that might help in identifing the reason it's
not in the body and on the lenses instead...
