todo boggy, my best advice is to spend some time with your camera because your pictures will tell you exactly what to get if anything. If after reviewing several hundred pictures or so, you find that many of your pics are macro, but they lack that punch you really want, then it may be time to find a good macro lens. Same thing for wide angle if a considerable amount of you shots are at the wide end or are landscape pics and you want to get more, then a wide angle maybe a perfect fit. Telephoto is no different than the rest ( this is where I live ) if you find your self taking long range shots or short range for that matter and you want to get closer still then a telephoto maybe in your future.

If I were to get a wide angle it would be the Raynox 6600pro ;) which I will pick up sometime soon. hth

I judge my pics on the "did I get what I saw or wanted out of the pic rule"

macro lense? what does that do? i never even heard of that. sooo much to learn yet. my list of things to get are the adaptor, uv and polarized filter and telephoto lense.

Why? I'm lazy + really don't want to have to PP a wide angle shot 6600 offers the best result I've seen so far. I think JTL has one so you might want to check him out and see what he has to say. No alternatives, I really don't shoot enough wide angle shots to even warrant the lens no flat land where I'm at nothing but trees. So it would be difficult to get the kind of shot I'd want. hth :p how you doing today flip ? :)

It allows you to focus very closely on a subject while maintaining good detail.
