Finally got to editing some shots that have been waiting for me. My oldest daughter Kaelen.
I think I still may be working over my shots a little too much, but it looks pretty good printed as a 4x6.

My little girl Miah is just 13 months... I know how you feel. She is on the move all the time. I cant wait until I can ask her to sit still for min.

JM - nice shot. Little kids are so hard to shoot. I did two shoots - one with a 15 month old and another with a 4 month old - while I was in New York last month (I'll be posting photos soon), and man it was impossible to get the 15 month to be still and focus. The four month old really couldn't move b/c she's so young - but she did manage to swing her head wildy everytime I tried to get a shot. So I feel your pain. ;) But at least you got a really nice shot of her.

Hey NewTek, the odd thing is that my 18mth old is easier to shoot than my 3 yr old. Mya cheeses it up pretty well for the camera, where as Kaelen thinks its funny to play "lets see how fast your camera can click...ready...try and catch me." Or my favorite is when she does finally stay still for a moment....smiles...then just as I am ready to click, she makes a face! They are precious tho.
Thanks Peter. I think part of the fun is the challenge they give us! The first time my wife and I took both girls to my photographer friend (before my purchase) was before Christmas 2005. He took 125 shots! Got that down to about 20 decent ones, and I think about 5 REAL keeps. THANK GOD for digital and CF cards!!

Nice shot Jeff. . . I think the edit works. . . I'm not sure about the motion blur at the bottom but it doesn't bother me either.
Kids are really tough to pose and stuff - I don't fight it - I prefer to let them do their thing and try to catch those little moments the create.

Very nice editing. I am looking forward to getting into DPP.
JM, you can still ask your daughter to sit still. I cannot tell my cat to sit still bacause he does not even listen to me:D

Well asking and listening are two entirely different things.:D
Good job JMW.:)
miah and mya?
damn horror movies have been messing with my mind - the pale skin is kinda weird to me but the original is nice.
