Yes, it is rather slow because I am keeping the file sizes around 500-600 KB. It is a trade-off, I want the images to look as good as possible. They are not nearly as high-resolution as the originals, but for people with DSL it is not too bad.

Your website was plenty fast here. All the images loaded within a few seconds. You have a nice gallery! I modified one of your images, let me know if you would like me to post it.
