I just got the S3 and need help with the settings for pictures of my daughter's volleyball game. The lighting in the gym is not great.
Can someone give me some ideas please?

thats gonne be tough with the S3.. you would almost have to use sports mode.. hmm.. the best thing to do I guess is to use ISO 400, Tv mode and maybe 1/80, pictures will be grainy though.. then you could just clean it up with a noise removal software and brighten it up in photoshop.. thats a tough one :(

use sports mode then remember the settings. Then go to manual or P mode and try and get a similar exsposure but use the largest Fstop. Usualy P mode and sports mode try and run the smallest fstop but ive found you can use a larger one because your usualy trying to get one subject in focus not everything wich a smaller Fstop is trying to do.
Say your shooting your daughters first game, why would you need the whole gym in focus? thats what sports mode trys to do. That distracts the shot and takes the focus away from your subject. A larger Fstop isnt so much but it helps bring in more lighting.
