I am planning to buy Canon Powershot 710 IS.
I need low-light capability, reasonable Zoom, and manual as well as P&S.
Am i on the right track? Please help. Thanks.

What will you be using it for mostly? why would it be better then say the A640?

I am an ameture.And will be useing it for multi purpose. Say Birds, Outdoors,
mostly pets and Kids. Thanks
