I recently purchased a Canon Powershot A640 for our Wholesale business to use in creating a catalogue - the camera was recommended by specialists at a trade fair... (although i bought the camera elsewhere). Only problem i didnt forsee was that it was totally in Japanese (i think) so i have no idea what settings are what etc. Does anybody know if it is possible to get hold of an english manual for the camera from somehwhere so i can work out what it actually does? I would've thought it'd have a language option somehwere but i can find one so any help is much appreciated.
Also, as you may guess from my user name, im a Motorsport fan and intend to use the camera for photgraphy of cars. Any ideas on what this camera is like for taking good photos of fast moving cars in various conditions?
Regards,
Matt

Here (http://alpha02.c-wss.com/inc/ApplServlet?SV=WWUCA900) is the PDF version of the manual, you can print it but i think its about 100 some pages. The books are pocketsize so if you do it right you can get about 4 pages (front and back) per sheet. Ide just read it from the PDF, you could print a little cheatsheet if you had some stuff you wanted printed like what the icons stand for or somthing.
Im thinking on mine (A610) there is a language option on the second record menu page. You can select the different language there and it changes the menues and text to english. Go into menu then at the top there is a tools tab once your on that tab push up 3 times and that should be the language option hit set and it should give the whole language grid. Mine has like 22different languages.
