Hi

I have recently brought the Canon EOS 350D (I am aware that the 400D has just been released) and so far I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I am totally new to SLR's and as a result I have been reading lots of tutorials on the net and have gained quite a good knowledge of the settings and adjustments that I can make with an SLR.

I am now looking at the possibility of buying an instructional DVD specifically for my 350D and wondered what other people thought on these DVD's.

I would be using it to gain a more comprehensive knowledge of how to use the features available and feel demonstrations could aid me a little better than written instructions.

The DVD I am looking at is:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BW17C2/ref=pd_rvi_gw_2/102-7757853-3505719?ie=UTF8

Can anyone suggest an alternative or a good recommendation?

Thanks

Hi

The DVD really is a great tool for beginners.

It offers clear and easy working examples and demonstrates every feature that is supported by the Canon 350D.

I would recommend this to any new camera user and also anybody who struggles to understand settings like ISO, Exposure, Depth of field etc

Judging by some of the posts in the forums that is quite a few users !!!!

I highly recommend what you have done as the learning curve gets fast. Helps to stop making the "pro's" around here grumpy too.;)
