I have a D50 on the way and I'm trying to decide on which lenses to go with. This is my first slr camera, which is where the problem lies.
I like to take photos outdoors/landscapes, architecture, and still shots of cars. I also like to travel, therefore a compact setup is also of interest to me.
So I'm trying to decide between getting:
1. wide angle sigma10-20mm or tonika12-24mm
2. nikon 28-105mm or tamron 28-75mm
3. 35mm prime and maybe 50mm (for low light)
or
1.tamron17-50 or sigma18-50 (f/2.8)
2.70-200 (have not looked into this range much)
3. same primes as above
or
1. sigma 18-125mm -->(has anyone tested this against the 18-50 f2.8 sigma)
2. same primes as above
I'm looking for the sharpest pictures available and I'm most intrested in the wide range. Most low light shots/interior would probably be with primes.
Any feedback would be great...I really want to stop reading reviews and comments and start shooting photos!!!
thanks -jordan
