[Edit] All taken using F100 and 25-85mm AF-S lens, scanned onto picture cd when I got them developed.

Great pictures, Sherlock. With your pictures you really show the power of black and white.
Number 5 is indeed superb. Great composition, depth of field and contrast.
The last one is also very nice. The inclusion of the feet is a brilliant idea.

About number 5, that is one of the girls in my class. Her style is really cool [by that I mean out there ;) ].

Those sneakers are truly a scrapbook of her life. They've got signatures from band's she's seen and things like that.

I agree with AllanC that the picture is on an angle. But in some ways I like it, the diagonal log adds drama to the picture. And straightening it might throw off the composition. But I really like the shot. It has such a timeless quality. That could be Tom Sawyer up there! :D
