i love smugmug, its a great photo sharing site! i mean, the features, design and storage are so cool! its unlimited storage, so it can also serve as an back up site for me. If you live in states i guess, you can order prints, and i heard the prints from their lab are pretty good. some people prefer to use the free sites like flickr or photobucket, but if you are serious about your pictures you might as well just get a smugmug account. Another thing i like about smugmug is i can put passwords to certain galleries that i only want my family to see while other are for the public, which is also helpful for your privacy as well. anyways.. if you decide to go for smugmug, i have a coupon code that you can use to get a $5 discount of 1 year subscription fxwbDlHi9x8c2. :D

You might want to look at a Photobucket Pro Account as well ($25 pr. year). I recently purchased one and it'll certainly meet my photo hosting needs. I believe the Smugmug accounts start at $40 per year and go up from there. IMO, the best feature of the Photobucket Pro account is the inclusion of "Flock" - a browser with an upload link that allows you to upload images MUCH faster and easier than you can with a free account.

I'm partial to flickr.com myself... $25 a year for a PRO account, which gives pratically unlimited storage, good community features, and as much security on your pictures as you choose.

And they just added a maps feature, so that you can tag your pics against the shot location, and then see all members pictures taken in a particular spot....

Here is the link to Send to Smugmug. I love it and use it all the time. All I have to do is put all the photos I want to upload into a folder and right click on the folder > Send to Smugmug.

I'm not sure how smugmug handles pro accounts with domains like ss6.com, but I can tell you that that particular one isn't available :(

The odds of finding 3 character domain names (or even 4 characters) is remote to non-existant these days...mostly due to domain squaters like the folks who currently own ss6.com
