Hi
I know in the past other FX series like FX7, FX01 have gotten very poor reviews here regarding terrible noise at higher ISO settings
I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the new FX50, if it still is following that trend or if it has gotten better... It's definitely caught my eye and I dont want to buy it if it still is getting killed with all that noise

thanks!

all small sensor high Mp cameras come with built in noise for free
the FZ50 has another issue though, that of the venus 3 engine

it is apparent that the software aboard is removing detail from parts of the image were noise would not be an issue, not all of it mind you, but some.

If it were simply a matter of noise it might be avoided by photogrphers whos penchant is shooting in broad daylight at iso 80 or 100. Also not an issue for people who only need/want small prints

In short, it is pretty safe to say that the FX50 is as noisy as ever.
