You used a too slow shutter speed apparently, because the seagull was on the move. Now you see a lot of unsharpness due to motion blur. You should take care about what ISO speed you are using with what lighting conditions... You have room enough to shoot at much shorter exposure times.

Because you seem to be shooting in low light then, agreeing with coldrain, you probs want your ISO on 400 or something to that effect, so that you can shoot aroun 1/320s
