hi,

I am currently looking at buying my very first dSLR (upgrading from a canon powershot) and would like some opinions on which camera would be a good all round camera for a begginer. The cost isnt an issue or the features it has, im just looking for ur own opinions.

ThankS!!

well thing one, I would take my time as Photokina is underway and all the new models are recreating the mix a bit.
Thing 2, cost is always an issue, if you want a complete but cost effective setup take a look at the Pentax range but, they seem to be equipping with not so fast zooms.
Thing 3, if it was me, Id be comparing against the Nikon D70s, which is the effective standard I work by. And I would read widely for different reviewers have different objectives. I would look for issues of general handling because reviewers dont talk about that so well.
Thing 4, I would consolidate my needs, and price the kit needed against the photography I want to do.

You need to mention what you want to do here
