Hi, im just wondering what kind of setting should i use for good landscape photography, all i know is small aperture for more details, tripod, but the thing here is, usually my shots are halfly underexpose or overexpse, like the foregroud exposure is perfect but the sky is burnt, while on the other hand, good sky pictures will cause underexpose foreground

i know i need to do some photoshop works, but somehow my gf's compact camera even take perfect exposure of landscape pictures than my 30D? been wondering why...
