hehe ... hope that title got some attention .. :D This is my first post on DC Review ... been lurking for a while, finally decided to post .. So decided on put up some snaps of my latest photo jaunt the Ganesh Visarjan Festival in Mumbai, India.
After many years of laziness and general apathy i decided to brave the noise and crowds and check out the scene on the final day of the Ganesh Visarjan in Mumbai, when the idols of the Elephant headed hindu diety are immersed in the ocean... for the uniniated this is one of the biggest festivals in the Hindu calendar in India and marks the beginning of festivities for the next two months. Hundreds of Ganesh Idols ranging from 1 - 30 feet are built, brough home, worshiped for 10 days and finally immersed in the sea ...
check em out .. enjoy and feel free to post comments questions etc
