Olympus C750 not recording pics

Hi,
I have been using this camera for over two years primarily to take pics for on-line auctions. I'm not a techie but I've done fine until now using the AUTO mode.
Batteries are good, I am getting a flash, the red light indicates that camera is recording, but no new pics on card. I have used Sandisk cards until a few days ago when I bought a Fuji card. That worked a for a few pics, then no pics, then corrupt file error. I switched back to the Sandisk and now I cannot get any pics. I don't get any error message on the camera. I though maybe the card was full so I deleted some pics, still no new pics. Can anyone help?

Somehow, a new folder was created - all the pics were in there. Don't know where it came from and it is numbered in a similar fashion as the other folder -- but it obviously came from somewhere. I'm relieved that there is not a problem with the camera. Once again, an ID10T error.
