I typed in "Sony" incorrectly in my header. It's been a long day :-) :-)
This is an extension of my thread that you'll see a few spaces down the board. I will put both pictures on here this time to show how the right hand side of my camera always blurs even when the rest is in focus.
The first one was taken yesterday and was on my old thread. The right trees are blurred while the left and center are not, and the right building is blurred, while the left part of the building is not.
The second picture is the newsest one, taken today after "resetting" my camera like Sony asked (very helpful Sony! ). As you can see, the background (trees) are sharp on the left and fuzzy on the right, the boats in the center and left are sharp but the boat on the right is fuzzy, and in the forwground the grass in the center and on the left is sharp, and the grass on the right is fuzzy.
After seeing these pictures, and seeing the thread from a couple days ago a couple posts down from this one, does anyone have any suggestions? Could the lens be dirty? Could the camera be broken? Could it be user error?
These are how all my pictures are coming out. I'm sick of cropping off the right hand 1/4 of every picture :-(
