I'd like to get this camera for my wife for her birthday (this Saturday), and the retail price has dropped by $100. So...i can either go down and buy it at Best Buy or Circuit City for $399, or buy it on-line, where the price drop hasn't taken effect. On-line it costs $365...any idea how long it will take for the price drop to reach the on-line discounters?

Now the SD700 is at $311.99 at beachcamera.com.
I got it for $338 just two weeks ago.

I recently saw the SD 700 at Best Buy, but needed to do some research before buying. I'm not sure how important the viewfinder is or if a larger LCD screen would be better. I've read the reviews that said the screen on this camera was very fragile. So as you see I have many questions. I've found a site called EveryPrice.com and a store -Wisetronics -that has this camera for $239. I suspect, if it's too good to be true it probably is. Can anyone help me with these questions?
