:) Hi ... thanks for anyone who can offer information about this camera?
I would like to know the shortcomings of this camera... it only has 100/200 and up to 400 iso ... would that mean its not very good in low light?

also is the picture quality good or average?

thanks:)

i6 is okay, nice in some respects, lacking in others.

Good:
Nice color
Nice night photos
plays mp3 and videos
records smooth video
small, very portable
Very nice LCD
A good photo looks very nice

Bad:
Tends to over expose
Tends to not auto white balance properly
Slow shutter, often blurry
Can be grainy
Video too heavily compressed, loses the value of the resolution
No auto focus on video, I haven't figured out a surefire way of getting focused videos
Short battery life, barely fill a 1GB with mix of photos and videos
Too many buttons will turn it on. It almost makes the power button useless since 2 other buttons on the back will also turn it on.
ASR is too too slow
Can't get it to work with a 4GB SD card
Video conversion software is VERY slow, 1 hour video will take 9 to convert. (solution: use a RAM drive to store the converted video, brings conversion times down to ~1/3 of video lenght, i.e., 1 hour video only took 20 min.

YMMV

Good luck

Dear friend

Never buy a Samsung Digimax i6 PMP. I have bough it recently and i used for two weeks. I dont know much about cameras but my reason for declining this models are

* Picture quality poor compared to SONY, Canon or Nikon
* Low battery Life ( I ddint see such in another cameras)
* Movies very poor quality and very hard to zoom.
* Sound is coming whne play back videos due to the hard zoom button.
* MP3 fuction is awesome (but we are not buying an MP3 player :-)

thanks
